At Pearl Interactives, we take the privacy of our users, especially children, very seriously. We see it as our responsibility to properly manage your data. This Privacy Policy outlines the information we collect, how we use it, and the steps we take to protect it. Our privacy policy applies only to our website and apps and not third-party apps and website; if accessing third party content linked or referred to by Pearl Interactives, you will need to read and be aware of their privacy policy.

Information Collection

  • We collect email addresses from users of our website who voluntarily choose to provide it by signing up for newsletters or updates.

  • We also collect information about the device and usage of our apps, such as IP address, device type, game progress, time spent playing and app usage data.

  • We may also use cookies and web beacons in the delivery of our services and use that information to personalize content and ads on our website.

  • We do not collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent.

  • We collect information when parents or adults pay for one of our services or apps, complete a customer survey, provide feedback or request technical support.

  • Our apps do not require users, be they a parent or legal guardian or children, to provide any personally identifiable information in order to use the applications.

  • We may collect and process this information using our own or third party tools.

  • Though our apps may use a microphone for sound capture or a camera for motion capture to support game play, we do not record, collect or store that data. 

  • We may receive your non-personal data indirectly from the following third-party analytics providers. These third parties do not share your user data; they are used to support the operation of our apps (respective privacy policies are noted below).

    • Unity (unity3d.com/legal/privacy-policy)

    • Firebase Crashlytics and Google Analytics (policies.google.com/privacy)

  • We publish software on mobile platforms like iOS and Android through their respective app storefronts (i.1. App Store, Google Play) and rely on the platform’s developer portals in order to track installs, receive ratings and manage our apps.  

Use of Information:

  • The information we collect is used to improve the user experience, provide customer support, and communicate with users about updates.

  • We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

  • We use the information we collect to process orders, manage accounts, provide technical support, understand how our sites and apps are used and to improve our sites, apps and services.

  • Our website and apps do not, nor will they ever contain advertisements not related to the services or offerings of Pearl Interactives. You will not see ads in our apps nor will we share or sell your information to third parties or advertisers.

Storage and Security

  • We take appropriate measures to secure personal information and prevent unauthorized access or misuse.  

  • We also comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to children’s online privacy.

  • When storing information we limit the access to those persons who need it to work at Pearl Interactives on the sites and apps you enjoy. Unless explicitly stated and with the granting of consent we do not use your information for clinical, behavioural or therapeutic research.

  • The information we maintain may be stored both within and outside of the United States and Canada. As part of the services and products we offer and the third-party services we use (e.g., payment processors), the information you provide to us may be transferred to countries outside these areas.

  • If we transfer your information outside of these areas, we will take appropriate steps to ensure that any personal data relating to you will continue to be adequately protected. By using our sites and services, you consent to such transfer(s) as necessary. 

Legal Disclosure

In addition, we may disclose your personal or non-personal information to additional parties if we believe we are required to by law, by a judicial proceeding, to protect Pearl Interactives’ rights and properties, or to investigate fraud, intellectual property infringement, and any other conduct that might be illegal or expose Pearl Interactives or a user of its services to legal liability.
