About Bootle Blast

Bootle Blast turns physical therapy into a video game! Your body is the controller as you play through a series of mini-games!

To play, you will need:

  • The Bootle Blast Product Kit (see page 3 for details)
  • A TV or computer monitor
  • Access to power
  • An open space to play safely (we recommend a 3m by 3m space)

Package Contents

The Bootle Blast product kit includes:

  • 1 Orbbec Persee 3D Camera
    • Including:
      • (1) Power Cord
      • (1) HDMI Cable
      • (1) Remote Control
  • 2 Coloured batons
  • 16 Mega Bloks (4 Red, 4 Green, 4 Blue, and 4 Yellow)
  • 1 Egg shaker
  • 1 Finger castanet
  • 1 Handle castanet
  • 1 Tambourine
  • 1 Glockenspiel
  • 1 Maraca
  • 2 Steering wheels

Hardware Set-Up

Step 1:

  1. Power:
    • Plug in the power cable
    • Use an extension cord if necessary
  2. HDMI:
    • Plug the HDMI cable into the Persee
    • Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into your TV

Step 2:

Image of stand of Persee Flip open the stand at the bottom of the Persee and place it on top of the TV.

Step 3:

  1. Turn on the TV
  2. Switch the TV’s input / source setting to the correct HDMI input
  3. Bootle Blast will automatically start
    • If not, click the power button on the Persee remote
